Privacy Policy

What we collect

• The email address you provide when submitting a project (used for contact only, e.g. dethronement notifications).
• Your project's name, URL, tagline, and optional screenshot URL.
• Roast text you submit for an attack.
• A hashed version of your IP address, used only to enforce the daily submission/attack rate limit — we don't store your raw IP.

Payments

All payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that part of the transaction.

Who else sees your data

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the site:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend (if enabled) — sending dethronement notification emails.

We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Cookies

The only cookie we set is a session cookie for the admin login (used solely by site administrators). We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (which would also remove your published content) by contacting us via the email you used to submit a project.

Children

Roast Arena is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves.
